Morgan Stanley pumps energy into oil-market outlook
Article Abstract:
A Morgan Stanley report on the worldwide petroleum industry suggests buying petroleum refineries instead of petroleum. The most promising market, according to analyst Lars Reierson, is in Asia where refined petroleum products are already imported. The liberalized markets of Thailand, Singapore and even South Korea offer the biggest gains to refiners as demand in the region continues to exceed supply. Refiners in China and India could also benefit if markets are deregulated.
