Article Abstract:
It is often observed that most machines break down immediately after the end of the warranty period causing many to believe it as a conspiracy to turn consumers in shopping maniacs. The experiences of an aggrieved senior citizen who is left with obsolete printers, scanners are narrated and the it is questioned that why do manufacturers make equipments that will fail within years of purchase.

A guide to survive a virus infection that infects the computer in different ways, when a user happens to click an infected attachment, is presented. Even after using antivirus softwares, safety from the worms and viruses can be ensured only by being vigilant and not opening unknown attachments.
