NALCO NON-CONVERTIBLE DEBENTURE
Article Abstract:
The Investment Information and Credit Rating Agency (Icra) has allocated LAAA rating for the Rs644 crore non-convertible debenture (NCD) programme of the National Aluminium Company Limited (Nalco). The rating indicates highest safety. Nalco is raising funds for its equity restructuring exercise. The rating takes into account the changing patterns in aluminium prices, low growth in the aluminium consumption in the country due to recession in main user industries and an anticipated reduction in customs duty on aluminium.
