Bond deal could be Europe record

A bond offering to raise financing for the purchase of Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V. of the Netherlands is thought to be the largest in European financial history. The securities offering is valued at approximately 4.5 billion Euros ($5.8 billion). The market for bonds with high yields is huge in the European Union.
