New inequalities for the General Routing Problem
Article Abstract:
The General Routing Problem (GRP) is a vehicle routing problem that includes the traveling-salesman problem and the rural postman problem as special cases, wherein both vertices and edges may require service. A new class of valid inequalities is introduced for the GRP. Called Path-Bridge inequalities, these are a broad generalization of the K-C and Path constraints which are also valid for the rural postman problem.

Analysis of upper bounds for the Pallet Loading Problem
Article Abstract:
A review of the known upper bounding procedures is presented and dominance relations between bounds are established. Computational results showing how the bounds behave in practice for the Pallet Loading Problem are presented.
