In order to minimize this problem suggestions are provided such as to switch to mini-meals, dress the children in baggy pants, close the kitchen at 8 pm that helps the children look slimmer and younger.

The doctor should be called if the child is is pain for more than two hours, has bloody stools, has pain in the lower-right abdomen, severe diarrhea, vomiting for more than 24 hours or is dehydrated. Otherwise, the child should drink clear liquids and rest.
