Nokia may ring up more gains
Article Abstract:
Swedish mobile telecommunications equipment manufacturer Nokia Corp. continues with its rise in gains. Even as the company is expected to exceed its fourth quarter and annual predictions, competitiors Ericsson and Motorla are hoping to regain their market share through the release of new lines of mobile phones. The coming year is not expected to be as profitable one as 1998 for Nokia, especially if there is any economic turmoil in China. That country's government, however, seems reluctant to neglect a substantial involvement in the mobile communications arena.
