Nokia net rises 43 percent on strong high-end sales

Nokia Corp. of Finland posted soaring net profit for the second quarter, up by 43 percent to 1.14 billion Euros ($1.44 billion) from 799 million euros last year. Revenues were buoyed by stellar sales growth of smart cellular phones and the divestment of mobile phone operator Telsim of Turkey.
