Non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages in Italy
Article Abstract:
Italian fruit juice imports and exports showed a marked increase during 1994 and early 1995, in addition to the continued rise in sales of mineral water, soft drinks and lower alcoholic beverages, which is expected to continue into the foreseeable future. Spirits and alcoholic aperitif exports have been extremely good, resulting in growth in the market sectors. Domestic sales of spirits are reduced, however, following a declining trend during the early 1990's.
