Article Abstract:
ABB Power Czech (Brno, Czech Republic), engineering firm, arranged two international contracts in December 1999. The first contract worth 270 mil Kc regards the installation of a boiler island within a co-generation unit for the chemical plant BorsodChem in Hungary. The other contract worth over 2 bil Kc was awarded to the firm within supplies to the construction of a thermal power station in Alsin-Elbistan (Turkey). Several Czech firms are involved in the contract worth 1.6 bil USD. Their participation is organised by Skodaexport (Prague, Czech Republic).

Schoeller commissions another hall in the Czech Republic
Article Abstract:
Schoeller CR (Litvinov, Czech Republic), woolen yarn manufacturer, will extend its production from 9 t of yarn per day to 13 t per day in 2000. A reason for the extension is an investment of CEK 230 mil in the construction of the firm's second hall. The hall was built in Kresice-u-Litomeric, the Czech Republic, in 2000. Schoeller CR produces about 2,600 t of woolen yarn per year, which represents a 21% share on the Czech market.
