Novartis reports two heart drugs are safe, effective

Novartis AG of Switzerland has two heart disease drugs that lower blood pressure showing promise in research. Both Rasilez and Exforge are in the process of approval by the United States Food and Drug Administration and European authorities. Rasilez is expected to generate sales of $1 billion and Exforge, $500 million per year.
