Now he goes too far: Taiwan's Chen Shui-bian takes the referendum issue one step beyond prudence

The domestic political aspects in Taiwan resulting in restrictions on calling referendums are analyzed. The opposition to Chen Shui-bian's government proposes that the issues for referendum should pass through several formalities before they seek public opinion proposes it.
