The Group of 7 nations should scrap their plans to fund new nuclear plants in Ukraine. Electric-power power capacity already surpasses demand, and the new plants are not cost-efficient. The laudable goal of reducing Ukraine's dependence on Russian fuel should be met by energy conservation.
