The shadow over Westminster
Article Abstract:
United Kingdom prime minister, Tony Blair, has been consistent in his support for the policy of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in the conflict in Yugoslavia. There is concern that success may not be possble in this war. Blair has popular support, and there is also pressure for using ground forces. The UK's contribution has been small compared to that of the US.Blair may be hoping that little force would be needed on the ground, but this appears to be wishful thinking.

Parliament's chance of a lifetime: the Tory majority
Article Abstract:
There is a slight chance that the Conservative Party could lose its majority in the British Parliament, but it is very unlikely they would lose the eleven seats required for that to happen. Both parties have an interest in claiming the parliamentary majority is more volatile than it is.
