Olivetti sets mark with launch of 1.25-billion-Euro bond issue

Olivetti SpA sold a 1.25 billion ($1.45 billion) Euro bond. The 10-year debt is the largest corporate bond to be sold in the euro-denominated market. Italian investors provided the majority of the cash for the bond offering. Olivetti's bonds were offered at 99.615 and a spread of 142 basis points. Olivetti is well-known among investors in Italy, although it is not rated.
