On the application of mathematical models in maintenance
Article Abstract:
The use of mathematical models in maintenance engineering can become an important factor in the design and development of maintenance management information systems. These models are also applicable in areas such as inspection maintenance, condition-based maintenance and maintenance for multi-component systems. Maintenance modellers, in order to be effective, must apply the said models to real maintenance-related problems.

Prediction of commercial bank failure via multivariate statistical analysis of financial structures: the Turkish case
Article Abstract:
A methodical framework incorporating an integrated early warning system, which helps in forecasting failure of banks, is presented. The model uses statistics for analyzing the financial performance of the banks. The model is prepared based on the banks in Turkey.
