Article Abstract:
The Nikkei share average fell to 19,764 on Mar 18th, which is below its 10 year average. The decline is troubling investors, and it is a growing threat to banks. Japanese banks may find it difficult to reach capital ratios, and they have little capital to protect themselves from rising bad debts.
