Agency professionals in Quebec, Canada's marketing industry are concerned that the province is in danger of becoming an isolated place in an increasingly global advertising community. With the growing number of campaigns going global, they fear that Quebec creative will be disregarded, to handle only regional or local accounts. According to Philippe Meunier, VP, creative director of Diesel Marketing in Montreal, Quebec advertising since the mid-1990s has been fear-driven, with agencies afraid of losing accounts, while clients fear displeasing their bosses.
