Chrysler will miss profit target for 2000

The Chrysler Group unit of DaimlerChrysler AG is expecting to post lower-than-expected profits for the 2000 year. The car making unit is also expecting to post a loss for the 2000 fourth-quarter as a result of high costs and discounts.
