Article Abstract:
As the competition between Maruti Udyog Limited (MUL) and Telco is growing, MUL has warned its dealers against taking up Telco's Indica car dealership. Many of Maruti dealers had also taken up Telco's Indica dealership in the name of their relatives. MUL has told its dealers that neither the dealers nor their relatives can take Indica car dealership. To retain its market leadership, MUL has asked the dealers to choose between Telco's Indica or Maruti's Zen. Six dealers have been put under pressure in this regard.
