Article Abstract:
The city of Bilbao on the coast of northern Spain, is to be reshaped over the next decade with most of the millennial schemes being undertaken by internationally known architects. It is planned to turn the city into a centre for European trade, tourism and culture and projects include a new Conference, Music and Performing Arts Centre, the American Guggenheim Museum of Art, and changes to the old dock areas.
