People designing a future
Article Abstract:
Sheppard Robson's Tim Bradley, Julian Hakes and Cari-Jane Hakes won the Wates Built Homes 'Living Sites' competition in September. The scheme is to be built in Kent, although the site for the competition was in Hampton Court, Surrey. Julian and Cari share the conviction that environmental design is not a gimmick and should be designed in at the beginning of a project. Sheppard Robson is backing their research and has given each areas of responsibility on separate schemes, although they will soon resume work on Living Sites.
