Performance benchmarking using interactive data envelopment analysis
Article Abstract:
An interactive performance benchmarking technique, referred to as 'Interactive Data Envelopment Analysis' (IDEA) is presented. IDEA combines the best of the performance measurement approach Data Envelopment Analysis and the interactive decision method Interactive Multiple Goal Programming to choose performance standards that are both feasible and desirable. Moreover, it is a decision support instrument that assists decision makers to determine benchmark partners that may be useful in discovering ways for achieving the chosen performance standards.

A ranked voting system using a DEA/AR exclusion model: a note
Article Abstract:
The Data Envelopment Analysis/ Assurance Region (DEA/AR) exclusion model was utilized to analyze ranked voting systems in which each voter selects and ranks top candidates. The DEA/AR exclusion model was utilized to obtain a total ordering of candidates based on a condition of a decreasing and convex sequence of weights. Furthermore, the ranked voting system provided an alternative method for determining an ordering of candidates by utilizing an appropriate criterion.
