Performance of the integrated random coefficients covariance probit model: implications for brand choice
Article Abstract:
The Integrated Random Coefficient Covariance Probit (IRRCP) provides better performance than the random coefficients approach (RCP) and the covariance specification (CP) model in terms of recovering 'true' parameters. Parameters of price and promotion vary significantly across the three models. The parameter estimates of the RCP model were found to significantly differ from the actual values when possible covariance as a result of ummeasured properties is not accounted for.

The financial services sector becoming international, the companies would be expected to perform strategically in the cross-national market structure of various financial products. The study involving multi-level latent class analysis, applied on eight financial products, across 15 European countries with 1000 consumers each is presented.
