Vietnam has become a contrast between the old Communist Party way of life and the global invasion of ideas, goods and Western culture. The U.S. Congress is in the process of trying to ratify a trade agreement with Vietnam, but must address the abuses to human rights as part of the trade agreement process.

Ex-foe's outlook brightens
Article Abstract:
The United States has signed a historic trade agreement with Vietnam lowering trade tariffs on imports of Vietnamese-made goods from more than 50% to around 5%. The drop in tariffs is expected to result in increased production in the textiles and home-furnishings industries.

AFL-CIO's labor invasion on Cambodia

The AFL-CIO , along with other trade unions from America, has gone to Cambodia in order to stress the rights of workers. The goal they are hoping to attain is to prevent U.S. companies from developing jobs in Cambodia, as well as increase labor wages and related costs.
