Article Abstract:
The U.S. is coordinating an effort to prevent ships from entering or leaving North Korea. While the U.S. government would prefer the term sanctions or embargo, the effort is blockading North Korea, and preventing North Korea from selling nuclear-weapons and counterfeit currency. Security analyst Hugh White of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute stated that the word blockade is an act of war.

Taiwan's turn?
Article Abstract:
Despite efforts by Taiwan and conservative Republican Tom DeLay, the U.S. is not likely to sign a free-trade agreement with Taiwan in the near future. Such an agreement would have political and economic repercussions with both Taiwan and China.
