Pricing non-storable perishable goods by using a purchase restriction: general optimality results
Article Abstract:
Two outstanding issues are addressed; first, the limitation of implementing pricing policies when restricted units are sold first. Second, and whether active prices can be offered simultaneously. The issues are resolved successfully, showing that an optimal primary policy remains to be optimal even in the extended class of pricing policies, and there always exists an optimal primary policy even when all active prices are made available at the same time.

Airline spill analysis - beyond the normal demand
Article Abstract:
Issues are presented concerning the use of spill models which predict sales losses when demand for airline seats is greater than flight capacity. The use of such models to select aircraft size and assign fleet aircraft is discussed.
