Approximate solutions for a stochastic lot-sizing problem with partial customer-order information

Article Abstract:

Two different strategies are developed to compute near-optimal decisions for a stochastic single product, make-to-stock problem with partial customer-order information. The findings reveal that the newly developed strategies outperform classical inventory policies.
