Critics of globalisation claim it hurts workers and keeps the poor in poverty, and while there is some evidence to support this theory, it is not that simple. The impact of technological progress and economic integration on income inequality is examined.

A different manifesto
Article Abstract:
The anti-globalisation movement is held together only by a distaste for capitalism, and has not managed to suggest a credible alternative. Global economic integration produces freedom and choice and can make it easier to protect workers or ease poverty.

Is globalisation doomed?
Article Abstract:
The terrorist attacks on the US were in part an attack on capitalism, and some believe we may see the end of globalisation. However, globalisation is innocent of many of the charges brought against it.
