Meanwhile, Netanyahu and Arafat vie for the support of the US Congress.

The fire at the end of the tunnel

Violence erupted after Palestinians protested the opening up of an ancient tunnel at the al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. PLO leader Yassir Arafat believes that the violence is frustration over the stalled peace process. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu believes his timing has been poor.
