A number of innovative designs using brick have been built throughout Europe, including Neuer Zollhof in Dusseldorf. Designed by Frank Gehry, the building features artfully misaligned angles to create a distressed crumpled form. Other structures are discussed.

Bonding with tradition
Article Abstract:
The owner of a former 16th century farmhouse in the heart of Sussex countryside hired bricklayer Nick Evans to do some new work on the property. Nick used traditional thick-bonded brickwork using red multi-stock bricks jointed with lime-based mortar.
