Qaddaffi says farewell, Arabia, and sets his sights on Africa
Article Abstract:
United Nations sanctions against Libya have been suspended, and Libyan leader, Muammar Qaddafi, is host to a number of visitors, including Lamberto Dini, Italy's foreign minister. Petroleum deals interest Italy and businessmen from elsewhere, and airlines are also keen to serve Tripoli, Libya's capital. Arab leaders have tended not to visit Libya, but several African leades have already visited Libya, even prior to the end of the air travel ban.
