Quantitative parametric connections between methods for generating noninferior solutions in multiobjective optimization
Article Abstract:
A framework was developed to determine quantitative parametric connections between several generating methods in multiobjective optimization. The framework shows that the structure of the problem, the property of the computational algorithm and the manner of interaction between the decison maker and the analyst can be used in determining an appropriate generating method. The trade-off information between different objective functions is perhaps the most vital piece of information that can be utilized in choosing the most viable noninferior solution.

Multiobjective transportation problem with interval cost, source and destination parameters
Article Abstract:
A solution procedure was presented to address the multiobjective transportation problem (MOTP) in which the source and destination parameters as well as the objective functions' coefficients are in the form of interval. The procedure initially involves transformation of the MOTP into a classical MOTP. It also involves conversion of the interval source and destination parameters' constraints into deterministic ones. It entails the use of the fuzzy programming technique to solve the transformed classical multiobjective transportation problem.

Preference programming and inconsistent interval judgments
Article Abstract:
Lexicographic goal programming was employed to derive the weights of alternatives from inconsistent interval comparison matrices associated with the application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process to multicriteria decision making problems. In addition, a new algorithm for identifying and changing inconsistent bounds was developed and illustrated via several examples.
