RCA go-ahead 'a tragedy' for site
Article Abstract:
Subject to the detailed design refinements, Westminster council granted approval for the project to demolish the old HT Cadbury-Brown's Grade II-listed 1959-64 buildings. Cadbury-Brown reacted to this approval, and told that Westminster council failed to realize the importance of the Victorian complexes and the spaces around the Royal Albert Hall and Norman Shaw's buildings.

Moneo wins RIBA Royal Gold Medal
Article Abstract:
Rafael Moneo of Madrid, Spain, is the recipient of the RIBA's 2003 Royal Gold Medal. Moneo carried out most of his architectural projects in Spain, but he has been involved elsewhere as well as exemplified his most recent effort involving the Cathedral of our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles. Various projects Moneo has been involved in are noted.
