RMP breathes new life into Airwalk
Article Abstract:
Airwalk International, based in Golden, CO, and RMP Athletic, based in Mississauga, Canada, in Nov 2000 signed a licensing agreement to restore Airwalk's image in the Canadian action sports footwear market that caters to 14-to 24-age-old consumers. Airwalk's image suffered with the hard-core sports crowd when it began showing its logo on everything. As part of the agreement, Airwalk will launch a new line of footwear, called Genetic, targeted at undecided hard-core skateboarders.
