Radegast Nosovice invests
Article Abstract:
Radegast (Nosovice, Czech Republic), brewing firm, invested 2 bil Kc in 1992-1997 to increase its production capacity and do some modernisation. The company's recently completed bottling plant was built at a cost of 430 mil Kc. The firm has extended its beer production from 1 mil hl to 2.2 mil hl due to the investments. Radegast is not utilising its full capacities at the moment. The company produced 1.9 mil hl of beer in 1997. The brewery is ready to increase its exports.

Perla invests
Article Abstract:
Perla (Usti nad Orlici, Czech Republic), textile company, will be able to extend its annual production by 15% to 9 mil mt of fabrics from 2001. The production extension will be possible due to investments of CEK 27 mil in new technology. Perla expects a slight profit for 2000 compared to unprofitable economic results in 1998 and 1999. Perla is a shirting manufacturer.
