Raiffeisen confirms stake in BIG Bank

Austria's Raiffeisen Zentralbank AG acknowledged that it acquired an almost 10% share of BIG Bank Gdanski SA of Poland. Raiffeisen represents the third foreign lender to acquire a share in of the remaining Polish banks that are still under domestic control. Raiffeisen would not say if it had plans to increase its share in BIG Bank. The Austrian bank purchase the share for 12 zloyts ($3.06) per share.
