Indian pharmaceutical companies are forming alliances with Chinese companies. India is bring research and development expertise to the table and Chinese companies are contributing their skills in distribution and marketing. The products are aimed at the domestic Chinese market, however foreign pharmaceutical joint ventures are suffering from discriminatory price controls by China's State Planning Commission.
