Refinancings and recapitalisations
Article Abstract:
The re-engineered buyout is one of a number of new exit route alternatives for divestment of a portfolio company. Other options include the secondary buyout, which enables a firm to be sold to bidders with a new management; and recapitalisation with high yield bonds.
