The movement to limit immigration is growing stronger in the US, as economic woes make immigrants an easy scapegoat. The recent riots in Los Angeles point out the problems between blacks, Asians, and Latinos, and the concept of the US as a melting pot is losing its credibility.

Many African Americans have traveled to South Africa since the country's first truly democratic election in Apr 1994. Some are just visiting, others are on business, others enjoy the freedom and may stay. However, some South Africans feel patronized by the African Americans.
