Article Abstract:
The implications of the unsuccessful Aceh between the government and the rebels are discussed. This could mean a return of violence in the northern tip of Sumatra, which has witnessed such violence for more than two decades. The government has already deployed more than 50,000 Indonesian troops and policemen.
