Article Abstract:
EDF-GDF Services have signed a contract with IBM Global Services, involving Windows NT and Aix, SGBD, Pacbase's VisualAge, and Tuxedo's transactional monitor. EDF-GDF wants to revise its client management system, which has 30mn clients. This project is going to mobilise around 100 collaborators and the first pilot site will appear in September 2000. This new flexible and progressive system is expected to facilitate clientele management tasks and diversify the services offered.

France: Mediapps buys Interface EAI, partners Citrix
Article Abstract:
Mediapps, the business portal publisher has taken over Interface EAI, a French software publisher dedicated to EAI. The acquisition resulted in Net.EAI, a new solution for the integration of business applications. Parallel to this, Mediapps will distribute Citrix Nfuse together with Net.portal, its portal generator. This is the result of a partnership between Mediapps and Citrix Systems, the application server software publisher.
