SATYAM INFOWAY SET TO LAUNCH INTERNET SERVICE

Satyam Infoway Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Satyam Computer Services Ltd, is ready to launch Internet services in the country. It has already submitted its application for an A category licence on November 9, 1998 to act as a nationwide Internet Service Provider. The company plans to come out with an introductory offer of Rs3600 for 100 hours of Internet access including training. The company has set up a Rs40 crore TCP/IP network which connects 12 cities, including Bangalore, Hyderabad and the 4 metros. (khr)

DIEBOLD HMA TO LAUNCH CASH DISPENSER

Diebold HMA Ltd, an ATM service provider of Chennai, will soon launch Cash Source Plus 400 - a cash dispenser. It will be introduced in two models- UL 291 high security chest and the Business hours chest. The cash dispenser will cost about Rs8 lakh and will have options for added functionality, custom signage and labelling, security alarms and closed circuit television cameras. The company is a joint venture between Diebold Inc of the US and HMA Data Systems (P) Ltd of Chennai. (khr)
