Article Abstract:
Mark Goyder, director of the Centre for Tomorrow's Company, together with the Institute of Public Relations, has set up a working party to examine the construction and usage of annual company reports. The working party may design a multi-media type of report which would be more easily accessed and updated than traditional paper documents, and it will include a broader range of issues than just financial statements. Goyder believes that annual reports provide a means of planning and moving forwards, and also re-affirming company policies and practices.
