Say cheese
Article Abstract:

Other Pizza Hut franchise owners have placed orders following the baht devaluation which made imported cheese dearer. Collapse of confidence
Article Abstract:
Government inspectors in Thailand are still investigating the operations of the Bangkok Bank of Commerce (BBC) in November 1996, six months after the investigation into the country's worst banking scandal began. The scandal has affected the whole financial sector and cast doubt about the regulation of the Thai banking system. According to bankers and sources at the bank itself, Bank of Thailand officials were frightened of taking action or were embroiled in transactions with the BBC.
