Prosecutors in South Korea are investigating the financial scam involving the aides of South Korean president Roo Moo Hyun who are accused of receiving illegal election funds from South Korean family-controlled businesses called chaebols like SK Group, Samsung, LG, Hyundai etc., To curb this menace, reform in the funding law has been mooted.
