A diagram produced by Charles Jencks for the magazine Architectural Design is presented. This magazine shows a timeline of architectural evolution from 1920 up to 2005 or thereabouts and the various topics flow through in a more organic manner as they ignore the artificiality of calendar years.

Inbred insecurity is the epitaph of the individual
Article Abstract:
The evolution of today's society looks very fearful either by design or by default due to insecurity in an individual. Individuality has to replace fear as it is proved that socialism has failed to lift the people above the poverty line, charity is dangerous and demeaning.
