Self-organising behavior in the presence of negative externalities: a conceptual model of computer choice
Article Abstract:
An attempt made to illustrate how simple, self-organizing system, with local information and rational agents can in some cases outperform the Nash equilibrium is presented. A one-dimensional cellular automaton is used to study how commuters choose between alternative roads, based on their expectations about travel times.

Model calibration as a testing strategy for system dynamics models
Article Abstract:
The model calibration as a testing strategy at three levels is tackled. Although the techniques are specific steps that generate standard results, their applicability is contingent on the complexity of the model being tested.
