Indonesia's very prosperous lumber and plywood industries are under the thumb of Bob Hasan, who is chairman of Apkindo, the nation's association of plywood makers. Hasan's environmental credentials are dubious, but potential rivals would be less environmentally responsible in efforts to gain control.

The final hurry: on death and dying
Article Abstract:
Several hospice regulations discourage the use of hospices, resulting in most people dying in hospitals rather than at home. Reforms suggested include allowing patients to leave and return to hospice care as needed, and to allow patients with longer than 6 months to live to qualify for hospice care.
