Clash of Civilisations' author Samuel Huntington derides the World Economic Forum in Davos Switzerland, as western businessmen oblivious to the fact that the non-western world is hostile to democratic capitalist culture. But it is their unbiased global ambition that could bring the world together.

Research designed to discover ways to prevent the aging process is being conducted, based on the observation that organisms such as amoebas do not age. It is thought that the method of reproduction makes a difference. Amoebas do not simply pass on their genes, they divide themselves.
